We collect your full name, email address, and ticket purchase history when you buy tickets through our platform. We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are processed securely by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your personal information is used to process your ticket purchase, generate and deliver your digital pass, send booking confirmation communications, and provide customer support. We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted within South Africa where possible, in compliance with POPIA's data residency requirements. We implement industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your information.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information with event organisers (your name and ticket reference) solely for the purpose of verifying entry at the gate.
6. Your Rights Under POPIA
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@ticketsza.co.za. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
TicketsZA uses essential session cookies to maintain your login state and booking flow. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
